Reminiscence of 2012

Dear Bloggers and readers,

I have been terrible and have not blogged for ages! My new phone has meant I am not taking as many pictures with my usual camera...so now I have less material for a blog! But...as it is tradition, I am writing my last blog of the year 2012, with another new years resolution to keep my blog going!

It has been rainy in London recently and Christams has come and gone.... the year has been very busy but it's been a good one! I hope you have a happy New Year 2013!

Here are some images from the year....including the Olympics! Cheers everyone!

When it wasn't raining so much....
London and its suburbs can be beautiful....
Especially Hampstead Heath...

...And finally memories of my visit to the London 2012 paralympics! There was an amazing atmosphere and one I will always remember...

The amazing view from the cable car to get to the stadium....
Well done London....To another year!

Until next time,

Spain: San Sebastian Adventure

Hello and buenas tardes!

Greetings from my latest adventure to the North of Spain! We went to the beach in San Sebastian- also known as Donostia! It is a beautiful part of the Basque country and it has one of the best sandy city beaches I've seen...I would definately recommend it.

There were a few places to climb up and admire the view from...look at that blue...

We were there during their famous week long festival, La Semana Grande so it was really busy- there were thousands of people everywhere but it was a good atmosphere!
There was music and spectacular fireworks every evening! If only these images could convey how loud these were...

I have so many pictures- the fairground by the sea at night also caught my eye...

The city came to life at night- but I think in the day it is still at its most beautiful...
The famous satue of Jesus seen from one of the highest points...

View from above....don't you just want to jump in?!

And just as good a view from back down below with its famous sculptures....

And I could go on forever....I miss it already...

So...adios!  until next time...

Walking along 'Seend Cleeve' and the canal....

Hello again!

I am going to be craaazy and do my second blog in two days!! Crazy for me do do so many anyway...got so many pictures I want to show everyone that I can't resist doing another entry...so as I've got some time....

Here are some images from a very English walk that we went on. This was in a place I visisted when it was the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend (daarling!)... a quaint place called Seend Cleeve in Wiltshire...

Couldn't resist having a quick drink along the way...

I loved the art on these canal boats....almost looked real...

As usual, the sky has its own story...luckily the rain held off until the end of our walk!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures of Englisness..until the next adventure...
