A place by the sea....Brighton

Hello everyone! I have not written a blog for while..so I thought it was about time...

I had to think long and hard about what the next entry could be, as it is sometimes hard to find the time to write and to feel inspired enough to post things up regularly...

So, I thought Brighton had to be added to my world of adventures as it is such an eccentric and funky place, which I visited recently...It has been known as... 'London by the sea!' If you have never been there and you are on a tour of the south of England, I would recommend a visit to Brighton....
The beaches are pebbly but on a nice day (although it was grey and rained when we were there) it's a really nice place to go shopping, especially by the narrow streets, called The Lanes (which really remind me of the  markets in Camden, London and you can find some cool, vintage shops!)

Brighton Pier is very famous and it feels quite 'English' to be there with all the arcades and fairground games to ride....

And the other disused pier....
Or if you just fancy having a relaxing sit by the water....What is it about the sea and the calming sound of the waves...? I've always loved the thought of going for a run along the shore...

I love this picture....especially the little girl running after the carousel...

I also love the colourful huts dotted along the shore...
The huts are the only things giving colour...If only the weather had been brighter!

The graffiti along The Lanes is also very funky.....

Last but not least.....the Royal Pavillions are amazing buildings to see with their Indian style exterior...' built in the Indo-Saracenic style prevalent in India for most of the 19th century'...

Definately a place worth a visit...even on a typically English, rainy day!

Until next time.....
